This course is intended to equip the student with the theory, principles, instrumentation and applications of the different pharmaceutical analytical methods.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:-
Describe the principles of the different pharmaceutical analytical techniques;
Describe the instrumentation used for different pharmaceutical analytical techniques;
Isolate and purify phytochemical compounds using modern separation techniques; and,
Develop analytical techniques for qualitative and quantitative analysis of compounds present in natural products
