Course Description & Objectives:
- The course aims to expose students to some of the contemporary popular literature in terms of nature, form, and concerns.
- There will also be an attempt to examine popular literature texts in terms of trans-historical characteristics and cultural dynamics in society.
- Popular literature from different settings/regions will be examined for comparative analysis.
- The course will be conducted by lectures and seminar presentations. There will be a written examination at the end of the course.
