Course Description & Objectives: 

This is a core course that must be passed by all students. The student will rotate through the department of Internal Medicine and be guided by Professors and Consultants in the discipline of Internal Medicine.

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of this course, the student will be expected to:·         Demonstrate knowledge of the management of common medical conditions using evidence-based-medicine approach.·         Demonstrate ability to recognise or suspect rare or complicated medical conditions·         Demonstrate knowledge of supportive care that can be given to patients·         Keep a Problem-Oriented-Medical-Record (POMR) ·         Demonstrate knowledge of the management of medical emergencies.
