This is a core course that must be passed by all students.The student will be working closely with specialists in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics during ward rounds, OPD clinics, emergency duties, discussions, tutorials, journal clubs, special diagnostic laboratory procedures etc. The student will also be given assignments, present tutorials and make case presentations to the department of Family Medicine.
By the end of this course, the student will be expected to:· Demonstrate knowledge of the management of common Obstetric and Gynaecological conditions using evidence-based-medicine approach.· Demonstrate ability to recognise or suspect rare or complicated Obstetric and Gynaecological conditions
