Course Description & Objectives: 

The course is designed to provide students with the ability to understand basic Operations management concepts required in business operations. It orients students to theoretical and practical operations management issues required in business operations. The course brings out issues such as; Quality management, capacity planning and inventory management. Course Objectives The course will help the students to achieve the following objectives:

  • Understand the nature of operations management in given business settings
  • Explain the transformation process in business operations
  • Understand project management techniques
  • Describe capacity and quality management techniques in different organization

Determine appropriate inventory management techniques

Learning Outcomes: 

Students should be able to
