Course Description & Objectives: 
  • At the end of the course the student should have learnt about and acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes related to socio-psychological aspects and bio-ethical issues in the healthcare services.
  • The student should be able to manage clients' socio-psychological problems and examine and address the bio-ethical concerns in clinical practice.

Content:

  • Concepts used in sociology and psychology, psycho-sociological cultural factors
  • Medico-legal aspects, principles of medical ethics, ethics and socio-cultural factors in decision making
  • Code of conduct on the ethics of H/workers, professional activities and the law.
