This course involves in-depth exploration of philosophical, theoretical, methodological and historical foundations of Information Science.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Objective:

  • To critically examine the theories in Information Science
  • To study the nature of information, the information process and organizations and operations of agents involved in the transfer of information
  • To study historical evolution of Information Science
