Thermodynamics for Civil Engineers

This course introduces students to the basic principles of electricity and thermodynamics relevant to buildings and other Civil Engineering infrastructure.                                                                                                                                                                                               Objectives:

• Develop ability to value the contribution of electrical and thermodynamic engineering principles to Civil Engineering profession
• Create an appreciation of flow of current
• Develop ability to apply the laws of thermodynamics in solving heat related problems in systems
