Course Description & Objectives: 

This course exposes students to current trends and issues in agricultural education and their impact in Uganda, Africa and globally. It aims to provoke critical thinking in students so that they can competently analyze agricultural education issues. 

Learning Outcomes: 

Students should be able to

  1. describe current trends and issues in agricultural education.
  2. explain how these trends and issues impact on agricultural instruction in Uganda and the world at large.
  3. relate the current trends and issues to agricultural education policy decision making.
