This Programme is important in providing expertise and high caliber personnel in various fields of science Education. The present M.Ed. Programme is now overhauled to provide more academic content. This is in response to the Makerere University Senate recommendations (Minute 17.0 RHDC, 1994) which required Departments of the School of Education, DOSATE inclusive, to restructure their M.Ed. curricula to evidence more academic content while retaining the relevant professional educational component, in order to elevate the academic offerings of each of the Programmes.
Applicants must have a good first degree from a recognised university or institution. Applicants should be qualified graduate science teachers.
