Course Description & Objectives:

This course unit addresses the issues and problems involved in providing information and services via the Internet with particular reference to the World Wide Web. It exposes students from a variety of backgrounds, to the technical aspects of information systems and knowledge discovery on the web.

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course the students will be able to have:1. Knowledge and Understanding of the:- World Wide Web as an information resource.- Basic methods and technology of the World Wide Web.- Basic methods and technology of web based data mining.
