Course Description & Objectives:
- This course covers the anatomy of the head and neck bony orbit the lacrimal apparatus, the lids the conjunctiva and Ocular adnexa. The course is designed to enable the student understand the relationship of the soft tissues and bony joints. The course incorporates the physiological function of the lacrimal apparatus, the composition, secretion and flow of tears.
- Basic Ocular Microbiology is taught in this course.
