The course trains the student to carry out Preoperative assessment and management: of a patient adequately prior to operation and manage any preoperative problems appropriately and conduct safe surgery in the operating theatre environment as well as care for the patient in the postoperative period and the methods and drugs used in anaesthesia and intensive care units.
