Course Description & Objectives: 

The course trains the students  practical skills in clerking, management and treatment planning of patients on the oral Surgery ward.

  • This includes the principles of history taking, examination of the patient, investigations and their interpretation, as well as clinical care of the patient in the out patient setting. The trainee will acquire skills in social aspects of disease, writing a patient prescription, and logical selection of drug or non-drug treatment.
Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course the trainee should be able to
