Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of the course the student should be able to:

  1. Participate in and perform “call” duties
  2. Do routine ward rounds
  3. Attend to outpatient clinics
  4. Do sessions in community work.
  5. Take Clinical care of patients with Endoscopic conditions with showing confidence, maturity and ease. 
  6. Attend to routine and emergency consultations and referrals without waiting for direct supervision.
  7. Treat, investigate and monitor clinical progress of patients with Endoscopic conditions. 
  8. Manage out patient endoscopic conditions with minimal direct supervision and planning their treatment including suggesting joint care with other disciplines.
  9. Carry out surgery on Endoscopic conditions procedures Assisting in more difficult surgical procedures and carrying out simple ones under supervision.
  10. Plan and carry out most minor Endoscopic conditions procedures without direct supervision and intermediate Endoscopic conditions surgical procedures with ease under supervision,
  11. Assist in planning and carrying out major surgery including interdisciplinary procedures.
  12. Handle all Endoscopic conditions emergencies whether major or minor without waiting for direct supervision.
  13. Do Pre-operative and post operative care of Endoscopic conditions patients
