Course Description & Objectives: 

This course is intended to expose students to applications of Epidemiological methods and steps in carrying out a community diagnosis. The course will also highlight practical aspects of communication, practical application of computer skills and basic methods of epidemic investigations and assessment of nutritional status.

Learning Outcomes: 

The students should be able to:

  1. Describe epidemiological and statistical methods of investigations
  2. Describe the principles of community diagnosis
