Course Description & Objectives: 
  • To enable students acquire key IT skills, the theory of computers and types of computers.
  • Through this course students will acquire knowledge about MS Windows and its components.
  • This course will also introduce student to the knowledge and use of databases; security; Windows (GUI); information networks; information seeking and sharing; information technology and society, PowerPoint presentations and developing databases application.
  • The course will enable students use statistical software for analysis of data.
Learning Outcomes: 
  • By the end course the student would be able to use computers and have acquired skills in information technology and basic computer applications.
  • Students will acquire skills in the application of statistical software to any data
