Dissertation Defence

At the end of the course, the trainee is expected to be able to

1. To submit a thesis for examination in accordance to the Makerere University recommendations.
2. Present, discuss and explain concepts pertaining to the study area during an oral examination which will called dissertation defense
3. Make a brief and comprehensive 15 minute-report on the study topic including background study objectives, materials and methods, results, conclusions and recommendations.
4. To discuss the results in relation to other studies carried in the area as well as the translational relevance of his/her during the oral examination
