The course will introduce students to the principles and techniques of forest inventory using both the conventional methods and non conventional methods using GIS. The course will address data management and processing. In the process, the students will be introduced to the various tools and equipment used in resource assessment
The student should be able to plan and conduct forest resource inventory and production projection for use in forest management decision making.
