Course Description & Objectives: 

This course introduces the principles of Epidemiology, Biostatics and Demography which they relate to community health. The course covers definitions of concepts and terminologies in different fields. This course stresses the relevance and application of each of the above aspects in community health.The course introduces the Health Management Information System (HMIS) and covers, definitions, types and utilization. The students are expected to appreciate the applications of Epidemiology, Biostatics and Demography in the Health Management Information System.
