By the end of the course the candidate should be in a position to begin teaching undergraduates in clinical methods. Emphasis is laid on differential diagnosis and interventions in emergency medicine.

Skills in correlating history and examination and generating a differential diagnosis, as well as rational choice of investigations is acquired drug interactions, side effects, use and misuse of drugs.
Management of medical emergencies common in our environment-, involving the respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, neurological, and other systems.
