This course is intended to equip the graduate with the ability to integrate activities at different pillars of the pharmaceutical management cycle.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, the graduate is expected to be able to:-
Describe key elements of the pharmaceutical management cycle with specific reference to selection, procurement, distribution and rational use of medicines;
Describe the policy, legal framework and management support tools for pharmaceuticals and health supplies;
Explain the process of medicines management in the context of a global environment;
Apply the quality criteria with regard to packaging, storage conditions and acceptable storage time before use;
Oversee, analyze, design and organize the logistics process as a chain of activities; and,
