Course Description & Objectives: 

The course introduces the student to the interactions between the various systems of a cell, including the interactions between the different types of DNA and RNA and protein biosynthesisi as well as learning how these interactions are regulated .

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course the trainee should be able to acquire:

  • Knowledge of cell structure, functions and advances in cell/molecular biology innovation
  • Knowledge in hereditary and genetic disorders in the maxillo-facial region, and innovations in genetic intervention.
  • Knowledge in the immune system , its function and advances in immunotherapy.
  • Skills in the obtaining ,identifying and culture of different cells and tissue structures .
