Course Description & Objectives: 

The course prepares the trainee to assess a patient presenting with Neoplastic conditions in  the out-patient clinicformulate a differential diagnosis and an investigation and management plan and also be able to treat the patient appropriately up to and including operative intervention if appropriate.To be able to communicate the above information at the required level topatients/carers/other team members.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       Objectives:

  • To recognise clinical features typical of cystic lesions and their management.
  • Identify a variety of benign and locally invasive lesions, their investigations and  management.
Learning Outcomes: 
  • At the end of the course, the trainee should be able to demonstrate skills in assessing a patient with Neoplastic conditions , formulate a differential diagnosis perform  investigations and management plan and skills  to treat the patient appropriately up to and including operative intervention if appropriate.
  • He should also demonstrate ability to  communicate the above information at the required level to patients/carers/other team members
