Course Description & Objectives: 

The course exposes students to practical skills in assessing the variety and variability of biological resources at species, ecosystem and gene levels. Students acquire practical skills in assessing the in-situ and ex-situ strategies of conserving biodiversity.

Learning Outcomes: 

Students should be able to conduct a biodiversity inventory and establish and manage data bases.
