Course Description & Objectives:

The course builds on the knowledge and skills acquired in principles of Surgery relevant to the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery I. Objectives:

To understand the principles of assessing wounds of the chest and thorax, debridement, and primary surgical management.
To understand the principles of assessment and stabilisation techniques of head injuries
To understand the physiological consequences of pneumoperitoneum

At the end of the course, the trainee should be able:
