Course Description & Objectives: 

At the end of the course the student shall be able to:

  • Describe the embryology of musculoskeletal system.
  • Describe the embryology of the chest and cardiovascular system.
  • Describe the detailed radiological and imaging anatomy of the respiratory system using various imaging modalities including plain radiography, Conventional Tomography, Computed Tomography (CT), radionuclide studies,  Ultrasound (US), fluoroscopy, bronchography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), digital radiography
  • Describe the detailed radiological and imaging anatomy of the musculoskeletal system using various imaging modalities including plain radiography, Tomography, CT scanning, radionuclide studies, US, fluoroscopy, MRI, digital radiography.

 

Learning Outcomes: 

This course will enable the student  understand the embryology, anatomy, radiological and imaging techniques of the musculoskeletal system and the chest.
