Course Description & Objectives: 
  1. This course covers the Principals of Toxicology and Drug abuse (substance abuse). It also covers in detail, all issues of Drug safety.  
  2.  The course involves tutorials, lectures and seminars.
  3. To describe the principals of toxicology and drug abuse.
  4. To describe the adverse effects of chemicals on biological systems.  
  5. To give an overview of non therapeutic use of alcohol and drugs of abuse.            
  6. To outline measures taken to treat poisoning and substance abuse.
