This course introduces students to the common tropical infectious disease, their aetiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis and pathology, the chemotherapeutic agents used for treatment of these diseases and the control of these diseases.
By the end of this course students are expected to have exposed to the common tropical infectious diseases, their aetiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis and pathology, the chemotherapeutic agents used for treatment of these diseases and the prevention and control of these diseases.
