Introduction, Extension approach and strategies, Extension for rural development, Principles of communication and community mobilization, Extension methods and materials, Organisation of Veterinary extension service, livestock policies and extension.Introduction to Project Planning.  Project Identification & selection; Formulation, planning, appraisal, Project Implementation and monitoring, evaluation.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               objectives:

  • To introduce to extension approaches and strategies
  • To teach students principles of communication and community mobilization
  • To introduce students to project planning
