Course Description & Objectives:
- Basics and principles of film interpretation
- Performance of special x-ray examinations of the chest.
- Film reporting in chest radiography, (at least 180 plain films)
- Radiological chest pathology and its radiological appearance: The chest wall (congenital, traumatic, inflammatory neoplastic diseases others). The pleura (pneumothorax, hydro-thorax, tumours), the diaphragm, the mediastinum, consolidation, lung collapse, PTB general, primary PTB, complications of PTB, other lung infections, chest trauma, Ca bronchus, (Pulmonary nodules ), other pulmonary neoplasm , diffuse lung disease (industrial and collagen disease, Bronchitis, asthma obstructive airway disease, Emphysema), pulmonary embolism and infarction, pulmonary oedema. The chest and AIDS infection.
