Course Description & Objectives: 

This course reviews mathematical concepts and applies to practical problems in geosciences. Students will be introduced to simulations and to programming.

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of the course the students should be able to:

  • Solve different forms of mathematical methods.
  • Apply mathematical concepts to typical problems in geosciences.
  • Use computational methods to analyze and apply electronic devices.
  • Carry out some simulation programming and fluid modeling.
