Environment Education and Communication

This course introduces students to a critical linkage between environment education and communication. Inadequate communication and education about the environment is largely responsible for continued lack of appreciation and understanding of the need and relevancy of environment conservation and management. The course explores the importance of environmental education and communication theories, principles and practices. Change of attitude about environment is a function of education and communication and is critical to the realization of sound environment management practices.
