This course is offered to second year undergraduate physics majors, in the Bachelor of Science programme of Makerere University. It is an introduction course to computer science. It covers the architecture of the computer, Input and Output devices
At the end of the course the student should be able to:· Identify the different parts of a computer assembly;· Differentiate between input and output devices;· Analyse the different operating systems;· Analyse the memory structures and architecture.
