Course Description & Objectives: 

In this course, the students will gain an in-depth understanding of the role of pharmacoepidemiology and the methods used in the study of drug use and effects. The role of regulatory agencies and economics in drug use and effects will also be explored. 

Learning Outcomes: 

By the end of this course, the students should be able to:

  1. Describe the methods used in pharmacoepidemiology
  2. Demonstrate competency in the design, conduct and evaluation of pharmacoepidemiology studies
