Course Description & Objectives:

This course will consist of description of the effect of biotic and abiotic stress factors on plants and animals, plant and animal adaptations, short- and long-term adaptations of plants and animals and plants

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

describe the effects of biotic and abiotic stress factors on plants and animals,
discuss plant and animal adaptations to stress factors,
differentiate between short and long term plant and animal adaptations,
outline and explain the importance of chemical defense systems in plants,
identify characteristics of plants and animals adapted to different environmental conditions.
