This course will cover nitrogen metabolism, importance of nitrogen and carbohydrate metabolism and their relationship in plants, chemical composition of seeds and their economic importance 

Learning Outcomes: 

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

  • describe the process of nitrogen metabolism in plants
  • explain the importance of nitrogen metabolism to plants
  • describe the process and importance of carbohydrate metabolism to plants
  • review the relationship between nitrogen metabolism and carbohydrate metabolism
