This course will cover nitrogen metabolism, importance of nitrogen and carbohydrate metabolism and their relationship in plants, chemical composition of seeds and their economic importance

Learning Outcomes:

At the end of the course, the students should be able to:

describe the process of nitrogen metabolism in plants
explain the importance of nitrogen metabolism to plants
describe the process and importance of carbohydrate metabolism to plants
review the relationship between nitrogen metabolism and carbohydrate metabolism
