Course Description & Objectives: 

The course aims to:·         Acquaint the learners with the basic principles and practices underlying prudent Financial Management systems;·         Provide the learners with a firm foundation to develop basic analytical skills to initiate, organize and manage agribusiness enterprises in a financially sound and profitable manner;·         To expose the learners to potential sources of financing for small and Medium agribusiness enterprises;Provide students with practical experience in financial management systems for small and medium agribusiness enterprises

Learning Outcomes: 

Upon completion of the course, the students will have acquired:·         an appreciation of the critical  role of financial management in agribusiness enterprises·         theoretical and analytical skills to describe and develop basic financial management tools  and systems for agribusiness enterprisesTheoretical and analytical skills to analyze and evaluate financial health of  agribusiness enterprises
