Horticulture Special Project

During the recess term of year II each candidate identifies a research area in consultation with a supervisor, who is an academic member of the Faculty staff. This project may involve field or laboratory research that falls within any of the specialty groups of the Crop Sciences. Alternatively, a social research may be undertaken, which is related to a constraint in any sub-sector of the Horticultural Industry in Uganda. On identification of an appropriate research area, the student is taken through the basic steps of research methodology
