The course will cover the basic concepts and theories of gender and development, historical evolution of gender, origins of patriarchy, and explanations of gender difference, how to identify and assess gender inequalities in society, and how to use tools for gender analysis to assess policies, planning processes, projects, programs and activities from a gender perspective.
