Course Description & Objectives: 

The course covers statistical techniques for designing experiments, analysing and interpreting research data.  It focuses on experimental design and analysis of variance for Completely Randomized Design, Randomized Complete Block Design, Latin Square Design, including simple factorial experiments and split plots. It presents techniques for multiple linear regression and contingency tables. 

Learning Outcomes: 
  • At the end of this course students should be able to understand the essential components of experimental design and be able to design an experiment be able to conduct analysis of variance on experimental data and interpret the results
