The course will enable the students to demonstrate a clear understanding nutrient requirements and management of intergeneration malnutrition throughout the life cycle COURSE OBJECTIVESUnderstand the growth and development processes of an individual at each stage of the lifecycleExplain the factors that determine food choices of an individual at various stages of developmentThe problems of each lifecycle that affect food intake and nutrient adequacyUnderstand the nutritional needs of an individual at various stages of developmentIdentify the areas that need special nutrition attention in each lifecycleDesign a nutrition education project for a selected stage of the lifecycle in order to increase nutrient intake and improve their nutritional status
