Insect Plant Management Systems

The course will explore Insect population concepts and pest management decision making, principles of insect pest management with primary application to the major arthropod pests found in East Africa. Pest management involves the use of ecologically and economically efficient methods to prevent or reduce pest injury to acceptable levels, new developments in insect pest management research will be highlighted.
