This course provides a general introduction to extension as field of study and professional practice that capitalises on communication strategies to bring about desirable change in agricultural practice and rural communities. It exposes students to the dynamism associated with the way ‘extension’ is understood as well as how it evolved.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Objective:

  • To enable student acquire the basics of providing advisory services to clients in the agricultural and other developmental contexts.
