Course Description & Objectives: 

Management of qualitative data (e.g. editing, organizing, and sorting); Processing qualitative and quantitative data (coding, data entry, data exploration); analysis and interpretation of data; scientific presentation and reporting of data.

Learning Outcomes: 

Overall Course Goal: The course aims at equipping students with skills and knowledge in managing, analyzing and reporting scientific data.Specific Objectives: By the end of the course students will have

  1.  knowledge and skills in processing and managing both qualitative and quantitative data
  2. knowledge and skills to use statistical analysis packages like SPSS to analyze and interpret quantitative data
  3. knowledge and skills to analyze and interpret qualitative data
  4. knowledge and skills in techniques for writing, presenting and reporting scientific data
